Admissions departments use test scores mostly as a ✔️ check against the transcript.

In public and private schools, grades and rigor always trump test scores.

This is not the case when considering homeschool applications because homeschool programs lack class rank and often accreditation.

While course grades and a student's standardized test scores may vary, homeschool parents should be aware of how admissions officers look for consistency between the two.
